Growatt USA - Statement on FCC Foreign Produced Power Inverters

On July 28, 2026, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau added foreign-produced power inverters to its Covered List, citing national security and cyber-security concerns. This action from the FCC applies only to proposed new inverter models seeking equipment authorization. All of  Growatt’s currently authorized models are grandfathered and may continue to be imported, sold, and installed in the United States without interruption.

Growatt Models which will remain FCC compliant:

 • MIN 3000-114000

 • MIN XH2 7600-114000

 • SPH 8000-10000

 • WIT 28000-100000

 • APX Battery

 • SYN 200A Gateway

 • ALP Battery

Growatt’s MIN, MIN XH2, SPH and WIT inverter series all hold prior FCC equipment authorizations and therefore remain fully eligible for import and sale under the new rules. These platforms serve residential, commercial, off-grid, and hybrid applications as well as meet established U.S. certification requirements. 

While the ruling could affect the pending status of FCC compliance for certain newly designed or slightly altered models and longer-term product development, Growatt will maintain its existing U.S. inverter models and distribution channels. Current inventory and stocking of compliant models are unaffected, ensuring continuity for  partners and customers.
