Growatt residential systems are built around a simple idea: homeowners should be able to add solar, storage and backup power without paying for upgrades they don't need. Our MIN and SPH hybrid inverters pair with modular 5kWh Growatt batteries and smart backup gateways to deliver whole-home or partial-home backup, sized to the home and the budget. Installers get a flexible, code compliant & FCC approved platform. Homeowners get lower bills and power that stays on.

The MIN XH and XH2 are high-voltage hybrid inverters from 3 kW to 11.4 kW, battery-ready for new DC-coupled systems and AC-coupled retrofits alike. Up to three MIN XH2 inverters run in parallel through a single SYN 200U-23-US backup gateway, for up to 34.2 kW of output and up to 180 kWh of storage. The switch to backup takes less than 20 ms so electronics, lights, refrigerators and HVAC keep running seamlessly through an outage.

Growatt SPH hybrid inverter installationFor installers who prefer low-voltage storage, the SPH series delivers 8kW to 18kW of hybrid power on a 48V battery system, with up to 200 A of grid passthrough, a 10 ms UPS transfer time and a 2.0 DC/AC ratio across three MPPTs. Up to six SPH inverters can be connected in parallel, and support for 208 V and 220 V three-phase service makes the same platform a strong fit for small businesses and light commercial sites as well.

Some of the biggest costs in a storage project have nothing to do with the equipment. Growatt's MCC 200U meter collar controller installs at the meter and enables whole-home or partial-home backup on meter-main homes without a main panel upgrade, saving up to 75% of installation time. Our SYN backup gateways include an integrated 200 A breaker, so no external breakers are needed, and service-entrance-rated options keep permitting simple.

Storage can grow with the household. APX 2.0 high-voltage batteries stack from 5 kWh to 60 kWh per cluster with module-level energy optimization and built-in cell heating, and ALP low-voltage batteries pair with SPH and our offgrid SPE from 5 kWh to 320kWh+. Growatt residential systems are certified to UL 1741 and UL 9540/UL9540A, are eligible for VPP incentive programs nationwide, and come with a 10-year warranty, extendable to 15 or 20 years on MIN inverters.
